First we make the biscuits...
- Add Crisco to flour.
- Stir adding cream until dough is thick and not sticky.
- Cover pan with melted Crisco.
- Cover wax paper with flour.
- Knead dough while sprinkling flour over it.
- Flatten dough to 1/2 inch.
- Cut out circle biscuits with glass top.
- Dunk glass in flour between each biscuit.
- Place biscuits on pan and drizzle melted Crisco over each.
- Bake @ 400 degrees around 30 minutes.
- Remove when nice and golden brown on top.
Next we make the gravy...
- Brown and chopped sausage.
- Never stop stirring while cooking gravy.
- Add 3/4 cup Crisco in pot over medium heat.
- Add flour to the Crisco until thick.
- Add cream until rich and creamy gravy.
- Stir in sausage.
Put them both in a bowl and eat them hot.
