Dinner: Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • Ground Beef 2 lbs
  • Spaghetti Noodles 8 oz
  • Marinara 1 jar
  • Olive Oil 4 oz
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Butter 12 oz
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Pepper 1 tsp
  • French Bread 1 loaf
  • Aluminum Foil 1 roll

Directions

  1. Slice the french bread long ways.
  2. Slice one stick of butter up into 1/2 ozs.
  3. Blend or dice the garlic very fine.
  4. Spread the butter slices and garlic pure on the bread.
  5. Preheat an oven to 400 degrees.
  6. Bring a 1/2 galon of water to boil.
  7. Brown the ground beef well done and leave on a low heat covered.
  8. Add 1 oz olive oil and 1 tsp salt to the pot.
  9. Add the noodles and cover the pot.
  10. Turn the heat off and let sit for 12 minutes.
  11. Put the french bread together like a sandwich.
  12. Wrap the bread with the foil.
  13. Place in the oven for 15 minutes.
  14. Drain the pasta after the 12 minutes, but save 4 oz of the water.
  15. Add the rest of the olive oil, salt, pepper, and parmesan to the drained noodles.
  16. Add the marinara sauce and pour the saved 4 oz of water into the marinara jar.
  17. Add the 4 oz of water from sauce jar.
  18. Add the butter.
  19. Let simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
  20. Don't burn the bread.
  21. Add the ground beef.
  22. Enjoy with a glass of red wine...
