Breakfast: Waffle

Ingredients

    The first two are most important

  • Waffle Iron 1
  • Maple Syrup 1 cup
  • All-Purpose Flour 1 cup
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Baking Powder 1 tsp
  • Milk 1 cups
  • Eggs 2 large
  • Butter 4 tbsp
  • ...if unsalted butter

  • Salt 1/4 tsp

Directions

  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk milk and eggs.
  4. Pour over flour mixture, and whisk gently to combine.
  5. Gently whisk in butter.
  6. Pour into hot waffle iron.
  7. Cook waffles until deep brown and crisp.
  8. Eat warm with Butter and/or Maple Syrup.
